Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager / Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic fintech team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex technical projects within financial services, specifically involving credit card systems, co-brand partnerships, and data-driven solutions leveraging Amazon Redshift. Experience with production website support, SQL databases, website, and mobile application product management is highly desirable.
What a day is like:
Manage technical projects from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
Serve as Product Owner for technology teams, defining product backlogs, managing sprint cycles, and delivering incremental value for websites and mobile apps
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including co-brand partnerships, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of technical solutions
Oversee operational stability through coordination of production support for websites and mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
Work extensively with Amazon Redshift databases, managing data requirements and reporting processes
Use SQL to query and analyze data, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Utilize Jira to effectively plan, track, and report project progress, risks, and issues.
You're perfect for this role if you have:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role within financial services or fintech
Demonstrated experience managing credit card-related technology projects or systems is highly desirable
Strong experience with Amazon Redshift databases, SQL, data analytics, and ETL processes
Solid understanding of production website support, technical operations management, and mobile app product lifecycle
Proven ability to manage partnership-driven projects, ideally with experience in co-brand financial products
Proficiency with Jira and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with executive-level leadership and external partners
Proactive and self-driven with an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Preferred:
Credit card industry experience
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, or related Agile certifications
Experience in fintech innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
