In this role, you will lead a team of high performing individuals that own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will support excellent inventory management, build an effective supply chain, and drive successful interactions with our partner teams.

Key job responsibilities
A successful Manager of Instock Launch Planning will:
- Manage a team of high performing individuals in the instock launch planning space
- Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and waste reduction
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
- Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
- Write documents and updates that communicate insights in a digestible manner to senior leaders.
- Collaborate with Instock, Category Teams, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams, to ensure accurate inbound ramp and promotional plans for new launches, develop tools, automation and improve processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
