MACOM sells and distributes products globally via a saleschannel comprised of a direct field sales force, authorized salesrepresentatives and leading industry distributors. Our sales team is trainedacross all of our products to give our customers insights into our entireportfolio.

Senior Manager, Aerospace and DefenseBusiness Development

This position will oversee client relationships at targetaccounts, drive sales growth, and collaborate with sales representatives toensure customer needs are met. It will also include responsibilities toidentify new business opportunities and building strategic relationships withinthe Aerospace & Defense market in North America. This role requires astrategic mindset to align with MACOM's corporate goals and maintain long-termclient relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sales calls and lead new business development initiatives, crossselling all MACOM product lines to achieve design wins on all major platforms
  • Strengthen customer relationship across all programs and further developstrategic position, including building relationships with stakeholders ingovernment agencies
  • Achieve sales goals and targets aligned with BusinessUnits
  • Communicate regularly with clients to resolve issuesand ensure brand consistency.
  • Analyze and report sales performance, market trends and competitor landscape.
  • Represent MACOM at key industry events to showcase ourtechnical capabilities
  • Publish customer call reports, develop and track new opportunities usingMACOM CRM software

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong networking skills with exposure to executivelevels in the Department of Defense or related industries.
  • Ability to travel (40%+), with preference forcandidates holding active security clearance.
