The RTX Enterprise Services Strategic Affordability Analysis (SAA) organization is seeking an individual to join its team as a Principal Financial Analyst. This role will support enterprise supplier pricing strategies and proposals. This individual will provide leadership and vision in our Strategic Affordability Analysis organization by analyzing supplier proposals.
This individual's work product will have a direct impact on Raytheon's competitive posture in the defense market place and customer satisfaction. The Principal Financial Analyst will work closely with employees across Supply Chain, Finance, Estimating & Pricing, Engineering and Operations. For these reasons, a strong background in accounting, cost accounting, estimating & pricing, financial planning & analysis and analytical techniques is desired.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- Perform detailed cost analyses and commercial item determinations on supplier proposals in excess of $2M
- Work closely with external and internal customers to develop a fair and reasonable price recommendation to be utilized for supplier and customer negotiations
- Work with DCMA as needed to support direct/indirect rate and full assist audit processing
- Support USG requests for information and audit walk- throughs as needed
- Perform regular peer audits for other analysts
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 5 years of relevant finance experience gained in a large corporate finance/accounting setting or an advanced degree and 3 years.
- At least 3 years experience in accounting, cost accounting, estimating & pricing, or financial planning & analysis
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & TINA statues along with experience demonstrating knowledge of pricing, engineering and manufacturing estimating techniques
- Experience demonstrating proficiency in MS Office including superior Excel abilities (V-look ups, Pivot Tables, Macros etc)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

- Superior communication skills with the ability to professionally present to large groups
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. Ability to work and deliver final work product within defined time frame.
