We are currently seeking a Staff Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Affairs, to join our Medical Division. This is a Hybrid role based in Redmond, Washington.

The Staff Medical Science Liaison role plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the scientific and medical communities and clinical & medical affairs of Stryker. Provide clinical expertise related to all products to internal and external customers. Responsible for managing unsolicited requests from HCP's per appropriate health authority guidance documents. Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data within therapeutic areas.

Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data within therapeutic areas.
- Develop peer-level relationships with medical and scientific experts.
- Interpret and effectively communicate relevant medical and scientific information.
- Provide clinical presentations, scientific information, and training in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings in both group and one-on-one situations.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of disease state, clinical information, and product data within therapeutic areas.
- Respond to requests for scientific information and data, including unsolicited, off-label questions.
- Manage unsolicited requests for off-label information by providing medical information through scientific exchange in a fair-balanced manner.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, regulatory, new product development, and post-market teams to provide medical and scientific expertise to influence business strategy and decision making.
- Attend major conventions, symposiums, advisory board programs and congresses to provide medical and scientific support to internal and external customers.
- Review collateral material to ensure clinical accuracy.
- Support the development of clinical evidence through pre-clinical and clinical research studies, clinical evaluation reports, and publications.
- Support Medical Education in the development of clinical education materials, courses and programs.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in science, nursing, paramedic emergency medicine or other health care fields.
- Minimum of 6 years of emergency medicine or prehospital experience.
- Medical device experience required.
- Strong applied knowledge of Emergency Care therapeutic area.
Preferred
- Advanced degrees like DNP, MD, DO, PhD.
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, researchers, as well as internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the healthcare and medical device industry.
- Ability to keep up with clinical trends within the Emergency Care therapeutic areas.
