Position Details:
We are seeking warm and razor-smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes in Nebraska. Ivy consultants are able to build an independent consulting practice while making a positive impact on the lives of older adults and their families. As psychiatric nurse practitioners working at Ivy you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. And, as an independent consultant, you'll be able to take on the work you want at competitive rates and provide services on a flexible schedule that works for you. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Responsibilities:
- Round at assigned nursing homes and provide psychotherapy to its clients.
- Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
- Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
- Provide education on best practices.
- Work with the psychiatric provider to integrate pharmacological and behavioral
- Interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
- ANNC Board Certification
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
