Objective:
This position will provide leadership and strategic vision to the Seats USA Industrial and operations organization. This position will manage, and where necessary, implement new operational, managerial and administrative procedures, reporting structures and operational controls to the company. The General Manager will effectively communicate and foster growth among the executive team and all employees. This is a vital leadership role that will drive results, spur growth and increase the overall efficiency of the Gainesville business unit. This role works under the general direction of the BU CEO to meet the objectives and goals set forth by the Group and the BU CEO.
Authorities:
This position has the authority and control to set operational goals and manage budgets.
Main Function Responsibilities:
A) Provide management and leadership to the staff and organization that aligns with the company's business plan, overall strategic vision and the Safran Leadership Model.
B) In conjunction with Chihuahua, Mexico's leadership, lead, guide and direct operational synergies between Gainesville and Chihuahua to insure successful operational alignment between the facilities.
C) Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading aerospace organization.
D) Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, President and other key executive team members.
E) Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
F) Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external operational processes.
G) Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the business unit.
H) Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and lean processes using continuous process improvement tools.
I) Work with other BU executive team members on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.

J) Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the Gainesville business unit.
K) Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.
L) Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable for company policies, procedures and guidelines.
M) Lead the overall Operations organization including Fabrication, Assembly, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, and also including dotted lines functions of Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement and Quality.
N) Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirement:
A. Education & Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering required.
Business Administration Masters degree preferred
Professional Qualifications: PMP certification, etc.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge
Minimum of 10 years experience in aerospace industry or equivalent in a leadership role
ISO Quality Systems, ERP, etc.
C. Professional Skills
Requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of business/production theories and practices as well as other disciplines such as Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement and Quality, etc.
This job requires a comprehensive understanding of how all organization sub-functions collectively integrate the operations group to achieve the objectives of the BU. Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
This role has full management responsibilities of numerous teams of managers/professionals and workforce planning for the future. Ability to read and review written communication.
This job is expected to direct/lead the development of solutions that go beyond existing precedents, assumptions or current practices and knowledge of high level business challenges. Is required to deliver solutions in a fast changing environment. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
