For years, TikTok has played a central role in the shopping journey for the Fashion category with #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt. The TikTok Shop Fashion business is looking for a passionate retail & marketplace category champion to help us build our business and deliver exponential growth! About the Role With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience to our users. TikTok is already the place where trends first surface, and where brands, creators, and consumers are already connected in meaningful ways. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our commercial team in the US, to help build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure, and intuitive for our users and partners alike. The Category Manager - Fashion role is responsible for scaling a book of enterprise partners, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business. Responsibilities: - Acquire and incubate merchants in the Fashion cluster to support category growth - Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently - Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams - Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers - Update active sellers on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years experience in e-commerce business with mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred - Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills - A good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes Preferred Qualifications: - Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred - Strong connections with brands and distributors are preferred

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88920 - $144400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
