Rotating Equipment Engineer

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Repairs of steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors and hot gas expander
  • Failure analysis of rotating equipment
  • Reverse engineering and CAD modeling of parts as required for the engineering tasks
  • Structural and modal analysis for design and evaluation
  • Aerodynamic re-rates


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Prior experience in the field of turbomachinery (steam turbines, compressors, gas turbines, pumps) is highly preferable.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX), reverse engineering equipment and software
  • Experience with engineering analysis packages (ANSYS)
  • Excellent writing and presenting skills (technical reports, proposals, presentations)
