POLITICO is looking for a Sales Enablement Manager. This role will lead the development and execution of strategies that equip the Politico Professional Subscriptions sales team with the training, insights, and resources needed to drive revenue growth through a value-based selling approach. This role will focus on embedding a consultative sales culture that emphasizes the unique value of POLITICO Pro's insights, data, and reporting to help policy professionals make informed decisions.

POLITICO's subscription services, POLITICO Pro and E&E News, provide essential intelligence and tools to policy professionals navigating federal and state policymaking. Almost 30,000+ policy professionals rely on POLITICO's subscription services to help them stay informed quickly, act confidently, and communicate effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Sales Training & Onboarding: Develop and implement onboarding programs to ramp up new sales hires quickly, ensuring they understand our product offerings, value propositions, and ideal customer profiles.
  • Drive Value-Based Selling: Train and coach sales teams on positioning POLITICO Pro's products in the context of customer needs, using real-world scenarios, case studies, and competitive intelligence to drive customer adoption.
  • Develop Sales Content & Tools: Create playbooks, pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and ROI calculators that help sales teams engage prospects with compelling value-driven messaging.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, product, and editorial teams to ensure sales has the latest insights on product developments, market positioning, and customer feedback.
  • Optimize Sales Performance: Analyze sales effectiveness, track enablement program impact, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.


What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, sales enablement, or sales training within a B2B media, SaaS, or subscription-based organization.
  • Expertise in value-based selling methodologies and a proven track record of training sales teams to sell on outcomes rather than features.
  • Strong ability to develop sales content (presentations, playbooks, videos, competitive insights) that resonates with government, policy, and regulatory affairs decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot, Seismic) to drive efficiencies in sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills with a passion for helping sales professionals succeed.
