ACRS seeks a full-time Deputy Director of Administration who responsible for overseeing the leadership, strategy, development, budgeting, management, and overall performance of the Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), and Administrative departments (Front Desk and Facilities Management). This role ensures that all operations align with the organization's mission, internal policies and procedures, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing not-for-profit and social service organizations. The position collaborates closely with leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate strategic plans and administrative programs across these departments. It also ensures that equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging (EIDB) values and principles are integrated into all department functions. Additionally, the role supports leadership and assists the Executive Director, Deputy Director, and other senior leaders with overall strategic and operational planning..
***Usual Schedule: Mon - Fri, with hybrid work flexibility based on agency needs. Typically, 2 days or more per week are spent in the office based on agency needs.

Working Conditions: The position requires regular mobility within the office or workspace, may involve sitting for extended periods throughout the day and the ability to handle objects, tools, or controls. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 20 pounds may be required. May involve tasks where visual acuity is beneficial.
This position is hybrid, with work divided between remote and on-site locations. Approximately 60% of the work will be performed remotely (telecommuting), while the remaining 40% will be conducted on-site or in-person. These hybrid work expectations are subject to change at the agency's discretion. The noise level in the on-site work environment is moderate.

Competitive Benefits Package includes:
- Pay range is between $162,200 to $177,200 annually and is based on experience with possible increases after 6 months from date of hire.
- ACRS pays 100% for employee only HMO/Virtual Plus medical benefits. Additional options are covered anywhere from 75% to 85%.

Essential Job Functions:
- Oversees and evaluates the organization's administration function and performance including Administrative Support, Facilities, Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) departments. Ensures that operations and strategic direction are in alignment with agency mission, vision, values and EIDB principles.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director and leadership, develops long term plans and strategies which support the organization's change and culture work. Collaborate closely with the Deputy Director to ensure cohesive and efficient operations that align with and support the agency's strategic goals.
- Oversees the Employee Experience Director and supports execution of the agency's HR functions and performance to ensure progressive and proactive human resource strategies, programs and practices that embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and permit the full development and performance of all employees, including employee reviews, investigations, and other employee relations. Enhances and/or supports development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Supports the Operations & Special Projects Director and the Operations Senior Manager with facility projects, maintenance, vehicles, and other equipment. Provides oversight to the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of facility modifications and ensures they comply with local permitting requirements and government health and safety standards.
- Oversees management of Information Technology related activities. Ensures continuity of computer and data systems for staff throughout the agency through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.
- Oversees and supports all administrative budgeting working closely with the directors of each department to maximize agency resources.
- Serves as an administrative resource to agency management by evaluating and advising on the impact of long-range planning and regulatory action on the areas of responsibility.
- Supports the Operations & Special Projects Director with risk management strategies, administrative issues, and safety and risk reduction. Oversees the agency's comprehensive insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.
- Attends all agency, program, committee, board, and team meetings, in service training, and supervision meetings.
- Administrates and provides guidance to the Personnel-Evaluation Committee. Administrates and leads the Safety Committee. Attends Board and Executive Committee Meetings. Supports Crisis Committee Leadership and Training.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, facilities and operations, IT, business, or related field; AND
- Minimum 7 years of management-level experience; AND
- 5 years of HR, Business, IT, Administrative or equivalent and 3 years of administrative management experience with non-profit experience preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of all of the following:
- Employment law and commonly used human resource concepts, practices and procedures.
- Benefits administration.
- Employee relations.
- Fiscal management.
- General administrative operations.
- Facilities management.
- Risk management.
- Project management, including large capital projects.
- Professional coaching and training.
- Board and committee roles, rules, and functions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals of diverse ethnic and professional backgrounds. Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment is highly desirable.
- Must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational and administrative skills, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Strong working knowledge of all of the following:
- Technical Skills:
- Effective ability to navigate a personal computer. Competency in use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software for word processing, calendaring, e-mail, and data entry. Efficiently research and perform various tasks via the internet. Experience with human resource information systems required.
