AstraZeneca is looking for an experienced business process analyst for Cell Orchestration to join our team. The analyst will improve the process and development of our cell orchestration product. We are looking for a blend of business analysis, technical expertise, and operational skills to guide teams towards achieving our product vision. You will report to the Director, Business Systems.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $92,582 - $138,873 However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with different teams and senior leaders within clinical, supply chain and manufacturing to lead collection of voice of the customer, challenges and business opportunities. Hands-on experience developing the business process and requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the cell therapy and orchestration space.
- Develop and embed standards for the cell orchestration lifecycle.
- Influence design and user experience while building new capabilities within the product roadmap.
- Lead change management efforts to improve adoption and use of new products and technology solutions, providing training, support, and communication to partners at all levels.
- Develop training manuals and process documentation.
- Engage with partners, including customers, partners, and industry experts, to gather feedback and ensure the product meets market needs.
- Ensure all product activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and AstraZeneca's internal policies.
Education and Experience
- 7 years with a BS, 5 years with an MS, and 2 years with a PhD in relevant experience.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in relevant technical fields such as Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, product development in the commercial or clinical background, with a focus on cell therapy, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
- Experience with cell therapy processes, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Experience leading system implementations, including cell orchestration, supply chain, commercial applications, and other operational technologies, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a regulated environment.
- Translate market insights into actionable plans.
- Strong drive to learn new concepts in business processes and applications.
- Proficiency in systems and technology platforms relevant to life sciences manufacturing, supply chain and commercial operations.
