Job Summary
Global Strategic Planning Leaders - Procurement is tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive procurement strategy that supports the organization's expansive, multinational operations. This role emphasizes optimizing procurement processes, managing global procurement service centers, and mitigating risks across diverse markets. The role will partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure that procurement initiatives align with the company's strategic goals, drive cost efficiencies, and foster sustainable practices on a global scale.
This is an onsite position with 2 days of remote work each week.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Global Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a long-term procurement strategy that supports global expansion and aligns with the company's business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Continuously analyze international market trends, regulatory environments, and industry best practices to uncover strategic opportunities.
- Procurement Technologies: Leverage advanced procurement technologies and data analytics to streamline operations, improve decision-making, and track global performance metrics.
- Digital Transformation: Implement automation tools and digital platforms to enhance transparency and efficiency in the procurement process.
- Reporting & Analytics: Establish and monitor procurement KPIs and performance metrics tailored to the complexities of a multinational operation. Generate regular reports on procurement performance and metrics, highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the global procurement landscape.
Compliance & Process Management
- ESG Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's ESG objectives, ensuring that suppliers and procurement practices support sustainable and ethical outcomes.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to manage risks related to supplier performance, supply chain disruptions, and regional uncertainties.
- Process Improvement: Oversee the procurement process, including requisition, purchase orders, supplier selection, and contract management. Continuously review and improve procurement processes. Implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and policies.
Service Center Management
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of procurement service centers in Asia, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with significant experience in a global setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing, cross-cultural teams on a large global scale
- 15+ years of people leadership experience managing large global teams
- Strong command of procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment.
- Deep understanding of global regulatory compliance, risk management practices, and the ability to navigate geopolitical complexities.
