SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of the responsibilities to be performed by the Database Developer.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources to target databases.
SQL Development: Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and functions to support ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting needs.
Reporting Development: Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports to visualize data for business users, including parameterized reports, drill-down reports, and sub reports.
Database Administration: Perform database monitoring, backups, and recoveries, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and collaborate with data engineers to source and prepare data.
Be part of on-call rotations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in T-SQL for database development, stored procedures, and data manipulation.
Experience with SSIS for ETL process development, including data flow tasks, control flow tasks, and package management.
Skills in SSRS for report design, development, and deployment, including report parameters, data regions, and data source configurations.
Knowledge of data warehousing principles and concepts.
Experience with database design, SQL Server Management Studio, and SQL Server Profiler.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders.
Perform database monitoring, backups, and recoveries, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Warehouse management system knowledge is a plus.
Experience with High Availability (clusters) and SSIS Scale Out a plus.
Query IBM AS/400 DB2 database is a plus.
C# and MVC knowledge are a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years of experience in a Microsoft SQL server environment.
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent technical experience required.

What to Expect?
Salary Range: $130K-$135K: Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, qualifications, and skill set.
Based out of HQ in Irvine, CA with a minimum of 4 days in office.
