The Senior IT Project Manager - Manufacturing is tasked with the oversight and successful delivery of complex and strategic IT projects within the Applications and Infrastructure domains for IOPS. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.

As a Senior IOPS IT Project Manager, a typical day might include the following:
  • Lead project management and business analysis initiatives for the development and implementation of assigned IOPS IT Systems.
  • Collaborate with business owners and key partners to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and ensure successful project delivery, adhering to budget, scope, quality, and time constraints.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all documents such as Project Charters, Project Plans, and Resource Plans are up-to-date and accurately archived.
  • Manage daily interactions and set expectations with clients for one or more medium to large-scale projects.
  • Develop and adapt project work plans to accommodate changes in requirements or circumstances, applying project management standard methodologies to improve flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Apply and implement project management methodologies and standards effectively, with a strong emphasis on timely, quality delivery.
  • Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and partners, promoting transparency and collaboration.
  • Identify and track risks and issues to minimize business exposure and project risks.
  • Manage project scope by documenting and acquiring approval for any changes.
  • Create and maintain user requirements, including use cases, user interface designs, process maps, report designs, and security requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among vendors, integrators, developers, and partners to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into design specifications and testing efforts.
  • Monitor and report on the IT project portfolio, identifying any performance variances.
  • Champion continuous improvement principles and practices, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

This role may be for you if you have:
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Management, SDLC, PM Tools and Processes, Enterprise systems ideally in a Life Sciences environment.
  • A solid understanding of Enterprise systems and IT Infrastructure.
  • Broad eye for business and understanding of software development processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Change Management in a cGMP environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a BS/BA in Information Technology or related field and 12 years of relevant experience. PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable. May consider experience in lieu of education; level decided upon completion of an interview process.

Salary Range (annually)
$122,000.00 - $199,000.00
