The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership within the oncology/hematology specialty by coordinating schedules, on-boarding new hires, leading professional development efforts, and leading quality improvement/assurance endeavors. The APP Supervisor is responsible for leading and promoting program changes within their assigned area to achieve organizational goals. The APP Supervisor will lead efforts to optimize the efficiency and utilization of the APRN/PA role within assigned area. Majority of time (.8) is spent in direct care.

In This Role, You Will:
- Evaluate and treat adult heme/onc patients in outpatient clinical settings, participate with inpatient rounding within designated clinic block
- Share in provider coverage of infusion and clinic, reviewing urgent needs/questions with RNCC and infusion staff
- Potential to perform minor procedures, such as bone marrow biopsy
- Lead the community clinic APP meetings
- Participate in leader huddles with the operations and medical directors from the community clinic sites
- Represent APP needs, providing updates on staffing, practice concerns and ways to optimize practice at provider meetings
- Partner with clinic, hospital, and service line teams to improve the quality of care and patient satisfaction.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team including physician specialists, pharmacists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, clinic and administrative support staff

- 1.0 FTE
- Monday- Friday, day hours
We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is:
- 3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in hematology/oncology
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
- Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
- Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
