S Inc. is seeking a Launcher Integrator to provide support on our STORM programs at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Description:
The Launcher Integrator will serve as a General Engineer/Integrator within PEO M&S, STORM Project Office, Engineering Directorate. This position will also provide mechanical and systems engineering expertise as part of an Integrated Product Teams (IPT) supporting M270A2 Launcher production, recapitalization, and modification efforts.
Responsibilities:
Provide mechanical and systems engineering expertise in support of M270A2 Launcher upgrades and modification efforts.
Work closely with AvMC, STORM Logistics, DLA and AMCOM, to provide timely technical support and coordinated responses to M270A1 Launcher sustainment issues and inquiries.
Provide Requests for Variance (RFVs), Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), and obsolescence notifications.
Brief the status of activities and issues and planned solutions to leadership within the Engineering Directorate.
Qualifications:
Requires a DoD secret or higher clearance or have the ability to obtain an interim secret clearance in reasonable timeframe.
High School diploma and 20 years of relevant experience; or an Associate's Degree and 18 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's Degree and 16 years of relevant experience; or a Master's Degree and 14 years of relevant experience.
Four or more years of experience supporting Integrated Product Teams for a weapons system/weapons system component.
Four or more years of experience reviewing mechanical engineering functions.
Four or more years of experience coordinating between functional areas with an organization to resolve issues and develop solutions to technical problems.
Two or more years oF experience working with external organizations similar to laboratory centers, major command elements, or DLA.
Two or more years of experience with weapon system launchers or similar hardware and software.
