Job Function

The Senior HRIS Analyst will serve as a Workday subject matter expert with a focus on Recruiting and Talent Management. This role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and reporting of business processes related to the talent lifecycle. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and COE leaders to ensure Workday is leveraged to drive efficient hiring, development, and internal mobility processes.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the configuration lead for Workday Recruiting and Talent Management, ensuring business processes align with organizational goals and Workday best practices.
  • Support and maintain core processes such as job requisition creation, candidate pipelines, interview workflows, offer approvals, onboarding, goal management, talent reviews, succession planning, and internal movement.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRBPs, and COEs to gather requirements and deliver optimized Workday solutions.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support metrics for recruiting funnel health, time-to-fill, hiring effectiveness, goal alignment, and performance tracking.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with technical teams to resolve complex Workday Recruiting and Talent-related problems.
  • Review and test Workday releases, identifying and implementing relevant new features for Recruiting and Talent.
  • Create user documentation, training materials, and process maps to support system adoption and efficiency.
  • Maintain data accuracy and drive continuous improvement in the user experience for candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and employees.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving integrations, security updates, and compliance for talent-related modules.


Required Experience
  • 4+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM, with a strong focus on Recruiting and Talent modules.
  • Demonstrated success in configuring and supporting Workday Recruiting, including requisition workflows, interview and offer processes, and onboarding setup.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Talent Management, including goal setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Solid understanding of Workday business processes, condition rules, and security roles.
  • Experience building custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and functional teams.


Preferred Experience
  • Workday Pro certification in Recruiting or Talent & Performance.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-entity Workday tenants.
  • Configuration experience with Talent Calibration, including setup of calibration templates, views, and session integration with performance reviews and succession planning.
  • Familiarity with Talent and Performance reporting, including visualization of 9-box and 12-box grids, tracking of succession pools, readiness, potential assessments, and other leadership pipeline metrics.
  • Experience configuring and managing succession pools with eligibility criteria, readiness indicators, and pool tracking.
  • Understanding and/or implementation experience with Change Job Business Process Templates, including process segmentation (e.g., promotion, transfer) for greater automation and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Workday Onboarding, Journeys, or Employee Experience features.
  • Exposure to third-party recruiting/talent tool integrations, such as LinkedIn, video interviewing platforms, and background check providers.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and work intake tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
