Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design of graphic presentations of products in a unique way for each brand of retailer, including devising branding concepts, creating logos, developing packaging, and designing advertising
  • Collaborating with clients to understand and assess their graphic presentation requirements
  • Determining the most effective means of building the client's corporate identity and brand presentation
  • Identifying and developing techniques for brand differentiation
  • Conferring with clients' sales, marketing, and design staff to conceptualize new graphics ideas based on an understanding of competitive products and market needs
  • Developing and designing storyboards and user maps
  • Preparing sketches, drawings, and specifications to translate product ideas into unique and captivating packaging
  • Creating logos, samples, and packaging prototypes to assess conceptual designs, in compliance with U.S. and European licensing and trademark requirements
  • Evaluating and approving graphics and layouts
  • Drafting and maintaining design documentation to assure quality in graphic designs
  • Creating improvements to existing graphic designs
  • Researching design and marketing developments to constantly improve design ability, and related product and industry knowledge
  • Promoting the company's graphic design services and its international promotion operations to clients
  • Providing input to the company's sales and marketing departments to develop pricing schedules for graphic design services.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Product Design, Graphic Design, or related
  • 2 years in job offered, as Graphic Designer, or related, including 2 years in the color cosmetics, beauty, or fashion industries
  • Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop

What We Offer

$90,000 - $116,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on individual and company performance.
