Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager, Cardiopulmonary Global R&D and Commercial Strategy based in Raritan, NJ.

The Senior Finance Manager will provide direct financial leadership, support, and analysis for the Cardiopulmonary Therapeutic Area.

Responsibilities
  • Play a leadership role across Cardiopulmonary disease areas, being the lead finance support for all programs through late development, responsible for driving value creation and portfolio prioritization to deliver for patients across the globe.
  • Provide support to the R&D and GCSO teams to meet the launch timelines anticipated over the next two years for two key programs within the therapeutic area.
  • Oversee the deliverables of the Joint Finance Committee for the Milvexian alliance with BMS. This includes managing the program budget, conducting regular reviews with the alliance teams, and ensuring timely processing of budget transactions and actual expenditures.
  • Act as the Finance single point of contact and inspiring leader across the portfolio leading financial consolidation for close, forecast cycles, LRFP and valuations, as well as developing strategic analysis to support business cases on an ad hoc basis.
  • In close partnership with the Finance Director, collaborate with the Compound Development Teams to ensure an efficient, lean operation of the clinical programs to deliver on efficiency and financial targets.
  • Support business development, Innovation Center and Portfolio Enabling projects to deliver value creating deals.
  • Continue to transform the finance organization into an insight driven business accelerator through the implementation of best-in-class analytics and decision support.
  • Design, develop, enhance, and implement processes that lead to greater efficiency and reduce non-value-added activities across the TA
  • Collaborate across the broader TA team and Innovative Medicine R&D Finance to deliver business objectives.
  • Provide exceptional people leadership across direct staff and global J&J Innovative Medicine R&D finance team by attracting, developing, and retaining diverse, influential talent. Build a culture of inclusion leading to a robust pipeline of diverse business leaders.
  • Develop and coach direct reports


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Finance or business is required.
  • MBA or master's in Finance/Analytics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance or relevant business experience is required.
  • Advanced proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel is required.
  • Strong skills in storytelling and delivery of powerful presentations of financial content to non-financial audiences are required.
  • Proven experience in partnering with leaders (business/finance associates) on developing business strategies & influencing at all levels of the organization is required.
  • Ability to lead teams in a complex, matrix environment and develop those individuals to meet the future needs of the business is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in people management is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$113,000 - $195,500

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
