Position Specific Description

We are seeking a highly-motivated Project Manager to focus on the productivity of our renewable technicians. The ideal candidate will utilize existing metrics to establish a baseline understanding and develop a framework for reporting productivity moving forward. This role requires strong skills in Microsoft Office, the ability to travel up to 50% of the time, especially during the initial stages, and the capability to effectively communicate with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and leverage existing productivity metrics of renewable technicians to establish a baseline.
  • Develop and implement strategies for reporting productivity in a consistent and meaningful way.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to understand and address productivity-related challenges.
  • Conduct field visits and site assessments to gather data and insights (up to 50% travel required).
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to document, analyze, and present data effectively.
  • Ensure alignment of productivity measurement strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide training and support to the operations team on the new productivity reporting framework.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
  • Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
  • Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
  • Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
