Overview:
This position will be responsible for assuming the lead role in the assessment, planning, coordination, and implementation of fact-based analyses that support marketing activities for a major market segment or multiple businesses. Oversee the continuous improvement of existing processes, develop new processes, or enhance existing marketing and communication processes designed to meet business objectives of M&T Bank Corporation business unit managers, while reinforcing the bank's brand identity.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of marketing experience (Or in Lieu of a degree, a combination of 9 years of higher education and relevant experience)
Experience in dealing with escalated issues and resolving unique and significantly complex problems
Has demonstrated strong working relationships with internal and external partners
Ability to research, evaluate and recommend changes to initiative or project
Experience in mentoring and/or onboarding more junior talent
Technical Expert and/or independent judgment
MS Office "super user"

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and direct a variety of fact-based analyses that aid Senior Management in making decisions relating to the creation or expansion of new or existing services. Build processes that guides department wide financial decision making.
- Develop and produce high complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets to include but not limited to project or product strategy analysis, historical reporting, work flow analysis, and financial analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement of existing processes, develop new processes, or enhance existing processes where required including maintenance plans, procedural documentation and custom tools for automation.
- Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and company products and services.
- Act as partners in regional / corporate level initiatives to support, strategy planning and operational efficiency.
- Identify business unit marketing and/or communication campaign needs based upon business objectives. Establish marketing objectives and strategies."
- As relevant, manage all aspects of the development and execution of each marketing and/or communication campaign project from conceptualization through execution and implementation.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
