Oracle's cloud capacity program team plays a pivotal role in managing large-scale cross-org programs and projects that span the server, data center and network verticals in addition to engineering, product, and business teams. The Rack Decommission team specifically holds a unique link between teams globally to assist with power, space, cooling, and new demand of OCI Datacenters. You will partner with subject matter experts from across the company to create, manage and report on the health of the business priorities that are visible to Oracle's highest levels of leadership. Successful candidates for this role will be excellent communicators, innately curious, and can influence outside of direct reporting lines. Our team works on a wide variety of projects, but we emphasize learning and teaching, so we are constantly iterating on best practices and tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for standing up new programs and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure the most critical business initiatives are fully supported. You will need to gather requirements in partnership with our internal customers, develop execution plans, and drive implementation of both strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing programs supporting decommission and end of life activity in the data center through partnership with both remote and local peer organizations
  • Track issues, analyze data looking for trends and reporting out to executive stakeholders
  • Collaborating globally to develop and implement process improvements in operations
  • Create and drive a culture of safety, ownership, innovation, collaboration and accountability
  • Be forward thinking by understanding data center growth, identifying scaling issues before they occur and contributing to solutions
  • Support the team in the generation of specifications, and ideas for process and software automation improvements that facilitate the deployment and retirement of server hardware at scale

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
