License: Active RN License
Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Must be able to scrub and be proficient in all service lines.
Rotating weekends are a possibility.
Description:
This position involves working in a cardiovascular surgery unit.
You will be responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients.
The role requires proficient charting, multi-tasking, and critical thinking.
An excellent bedside manner is essential.
The unit contains 2 rooms with a staffing model of 1 RN and 1 Tech on day shift.
Patient ratios are estimated to be 1:1.
You will be utilizing equipment such as Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser for lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfuser.
Call requirements are split and dependent on staffing.
It is important to be able to function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR, including robotics, ortho, spine, and GYN.
The typical procedures performed include joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery.
The unit is recognized for its commitment to quality care and has been a designated top-performing hospital for many years.
Awards and recognition highlight the excellence of the department and its surgical programs.
