Your goal will be to create a culture of safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce risk through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and protocols across all operational areas. Your goal will be to create a culture of safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce risk through training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and job sites
- Assist with accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety training and onboarding programs for employees and management
- Monitor and report on key safety metrics, trends, and KPIs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits
- Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, recognition, and engagement initiatives
- Maintain and manage safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role, preferably in Logistics
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/510) are a plus
