Job Description
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours
Experience: Minimum years of experience required
License: State license and ARRT in Radiation Therapy Technology required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
Must-Have:
Candidate must be fully competent on Varian TruBeam linacs, Halcyon, and Aria version 15.
Knowledge of Vision RT or OSMS is preferred.
Description:
The Radiation Therapist will work Monday through Friday during day shifts.
Operating hours are from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
There is a 30-minute lunch break during each shift.
The first week will include onboarding from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
No on-call shifts are required for this position.
Weekends are not scheduled.
Expected weekly hours are 40.
Dress attire consists of scrubs, with black pants and any top.
Orientation requires 24 hours, which are non-billable.
Candidates must complete a fingerprinting process as part of credentialing.
Two professional references are required, with at least one being from a manager or director.
Coworker references will not be accepted.
Candidates should be aware that compliance deadlines are strict and must be adhered to.
Candidates who are currently outside the state but within driving distance will need to drive to a fingerprinting location as soon as possible.
Education must come from an accredited program.
