Position Overview:

Join our highly collaborative team as an Optometric Physician, where you will practice as a floating physician servicing several clinics in Portland, Oregon, and the surrounding area with a primary home base. This position is ideal for an Optometrist with a completed Residency or a minimum of three years of experience.

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited School of Optometry.
  • One-year OD Residency preferred, or a minimum of three years of clinical experience with a history of chronic disease management.
  • Unrestricted Oregon and Washington State Medical licenses.
  • Unrestricted federal-issued DEA for Oregon and Washington.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive optometric care across multiple clinics.
  • Manage chronic eye diseases and conditions.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

  • Salary: $118,700 - $144,800
  • 21% employer contribution to retirement programs, including pension (This is not a match; NWP contributes an additional 21% of clinician earnings to retirement programs regardless of employee contribution)

  • Paid annual education leave + $2K annual education allowance
