Job Description
The Vice President, Growth Program Management will report to the Senior Vice President, Growth Go-to-Market for NBCUniversal Media Group. The Growth Go-to-Market team is accountable for the successful consumer-facing launch and ongoing operation of Media Group business initiatives that drive growth, revenue, innovation, and customer satisfaction across products and platforms.

Salary range: $205,000 - $230,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)

Job Description
The Vice President, Growth Program Management will report to the Senior Vice President, Growth Go-to-Market for NBCUniversal Media Group. The Growth Go-to-Market team is accountable for the successful consumer-facing launch and ongoing operation of Media Group business initiatives that drive growth, revenue, innovation, and customer satisfaction across products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning and alignment for complex, large-scale, multi-disciplinary growth initiatives for NBCUniversal Media Group
- Ensure growth initiatives launch on time and with excellence by setting and maintaining project plans, clearly defining deliverables, and effectively leading by influence
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across NBCU, including the following teams: Product, Engineering, Decision Sciences, Partnerships, Product Marketing, MarTech, Customer Care, Legal, Finance, Strategy, Content Distribution, and more
- Expertly manage multiple viewpoints from business stakeholders to build consensus and move projects forward effectively and efficiently
- Stand up and manage critical workstreams to ensure clear communication across teams, align expectations and timelines, and maintain a collaborative environment oriented around shared objectives and key results
- Provide the "single source of truth" to ensure alignment in a highly matrixed environment with multiple subject matter experts
- Proactively identify program gaps, blockers, and dependencies; effectively drive risk/issue management and problem resolution
- Present written and verbal status updates to Executive Leadership team, tailoring communication for each audience
- Reimagine and redesign the Growth Program Management operating model, including unified and updated processes, documentation, project management systems, and cross-functional ways of working
- Leverage available technology to modernize end-to-end planning and program delivery; reduce manual work and introduce more effective updates and recaps
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement and support effective change management across teams; incorporate feedback from key stakeholders to continually improve cross-functional operating model
- Plan and facilitate more effective working and brainstorming sessions, adhering to meeting best practices that drive intended results (inform/discuss/decide framework); lead meetings with a bias for action vs. information sharing
- Lead and inspire the Growth Program Management team (Directors and Managers)
- Determine optimal organizational structure and develop clear team charter and career ladders; socialize team roles and responsibilities to all stakeholders
- Allocate resources and align workload and projects with individual strengths and skillsets, based on a defined assignment and prioritization framework
- Provide structure and rigor for the team, guiding activities with operational excellence while also allowing for autonomy in day-to-day project management
- Actively mentor team members, provide direct and constructive feedback, and build a cohesive, best-in-class Program Management team
- Set individual career goals with team members and actively support personal growth and development
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience leading complex strategy, marketing, technology, or product launches - including identifying scope, building an effective plan, and executing to completion
- Proven successful management of a team of 5+, including organizational design (definition of reporting structure, roles & responsibilities, team charters, career ladders, etc.)
- Experience managing teams with diverse backgrounds, both in-person and remotely across time zones
