Our Commercial Lines department is seeking a Premium Audit Field Manager for our growing team. This is a full time, exempt role with the ability to be hybrid in one of our corporate offices or fully remote.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Oversee field auditors and premium audit vendor relationships. Develop skills, provide technical guidance, and monitor performance of regional auditors and vendors. Ensure optimal service and performance metrics. Implement standards and procedures for continuous improvement. Mentor and model Hanover CARE values for team and vendors.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Responsible for over-all management of field auditors and premium audit vendors relationships. Set clear expectations; hold team and vendors accountable for high performance standards.
- Monitor results and perform quality reviews to measure and enhance auditor and vendor quality and time service levels
- Screen and assign work to field in a manner to ensure optional cost and performance
- Effectively manage escalated situations and work towards resolution
- Collaborate with agents, insured, underwriting partners, Unit Stat, Compliance, etc. to ensure the best possible customer experience
- Optimize operations efficiencies through best practices and performance management
- Ensure workflows and procedures are documented and maintained on the IBank or SharePoint as established
- Maintain various reports and perform other special projects and duties as assigned
- Identify knowledge gaps and play an active role in goals and development of the staff and vendors
- Establish and reinforce best practices as implemented to improve quality and productivity.
- Assist in development & maintaining written field auditing procedures and guidelines
- Deliver personal results on production, quality, and time service of completed audits and aid others in the team through mentorship and coaching. Maintains a high level of technical competency.
- Vendor Management - Engaged in vendor expense management which includes working with contracts and sourcing on pricing.
- Track and monitor the annual PO budget amounts to ensure vendor expenses are within budget and/or allocated appropriately
- Monitor results for vendors and perform quality reviews to measure and enhance vendor quality and time service levels. Monitor overall effectiveness of vendor relationship
- Review vendor invoices and log same for average costing review
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred (or equivalent business experience)
- 5-8+ years of premium audit field experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance rules laws and classifications
- Strong knowledge of premium audit operating systems and a good understanding of premium audit workflow
- Strong level of technical expertise and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Requires working knowledge of Excel
- General understanding of vendor operations
