You'll lead a small but mighty team and work with leaders across the organization to make sure people practices are working for our people.
What You'll Do
As our HR Manager (aka Manager, Talent Management Business Partner), you'll:
- Be the go-to advisor for managers and staff on people matters like employee relations, performance coaching, and engagement.
- Lead and mentor your team of HR professionals.
- Support and guide tough conversations and complex employee issues with fairness, empathy, and expertise.
- Partner with other HR teams (like Learning, Compensation, and Wellbeing) to support people development and drive change.
- Keep us aligned with employment laws and lead our Employee Handbook updates.
- Use HR tools and systems to make smart, data-backed decisions.
- Help shape a workplace where people grow, feel included, and want to stay.
What You Bring to the Table
- You've got at least a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in HR, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- You've handled employee relations issues - the real-world kind - and know how to coach managers through them.
- You believe in equity, inclusion, and leading with empathy.
- You've worked across multiple HR areas: coaching, performance, leaves, compensation, DEI, and change management.
- You've supported a business or client group in an HRBP-style model.
- You're comfortable using HR systems and tools - you know your way around HRIS, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Bonus points if you have:
- A Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- Experience in nonprofit or healthcare settings.
