Location: Southern Orange County, California
Job Type: Full-Time, Salary, Exempt

Compensation: $105,000 - $119,000

AMFM Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Director to lead one of our core behavioral health treatment programs. In this leadership role, you'll help shape high-quality, evidence-based care while mentoring a team of dedicated clinicians. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the clinical operations and treatment planning for assigned program(s)
  • Supervise, support, and guide clinical staff, including associate-licensed clinicians
  • Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based clinical programming
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, etc.)
  • Collaborate with leadership on admissions, staffing, and performance goals
  • Provide feedback and performance evaluations for clinical team members
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of staff
  • Report to the Executive Director on clinical progress and challenges
  • Maintain a person-centered and culturally sensitive care environment
  • Uphold all organizational policies, client rights, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Associate-licensed clinician (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)
  • Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  • Master's degree from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of experience in a mental health treatment setting
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Possess valid driver's license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Current TB clearance
  • Ability to pass background checks (state, federal Livescan, and ADP Selective Screening)

Preferred:
  • Fully licensed clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD)
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in multi-level care settings

Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and payer requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe tools

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment
