RBR-Technologies is seeking an Oracle Developer to support one of our customers in the MD/DC Metro area. This position can be worked remotely and the developer would need to be local to come onsite for meetings as needed.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Application Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the implementation of Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for Oracle Development Kit applications. This role requires specialized knowledge in cybersecurity compliance, Oracle technologies, and secure software development practices.
As a Software Application SME, you will be responsible for providing expert-level knowledge and guidance on implementing DISA-ASD-STIG requirements for Oracle Development Kit applications. You will work closely with development teams, security professionals, and stakeholders to ensure all software meets DoD security compliance standards while maintaining functionality and performance.

Responsibilities
- Apply subject matter expertise in evaluating Oracle Development Kit applications against DoD STIG requirements and security standards
- Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate technical solutions to ensure STIG compliance
- Develop and implement security hardening procedures specific to Oracle Development Kit applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on secure coding practices and STIG implementation
- Oversee the development, testing, and implementation of security controls and configurations
- Verify that technical solutions meet defined security requirements through comprehensive testing and validation
- Document compliance processes and create technical reference materials including user guides and training manuals
- Conduct security assessments and audits to validate STIG compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
- Stay current with evolving DISA STIG requirements, cybersecurity standards, and Oracle technologies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for STIG-related inquiries and issues
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software security, STIG implementation, and Oracle technologies and/or a 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Must have or be able to obtain IAT Level 2 certification
- Demonstrated experience implementing DISA STIGs in software applications, particularly with Oracle technologies
- Strong knowledge of DoD security requirements, NIST standards, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Expertise in secure software development practices and application security testing
- Experience with Oracle Development Kit and related technologies
- Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in software applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically about security implementation
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies and development frameworks
- Understanding of database security configurations and hardening techniques
- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical security requirements
- Ability to develop and implement security controls across various platforms
- Knowledge of systems and software engineering principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- Top Secret clearance
- Current IAT Level 2 or higher certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience with automated STIG compliance tools and scanning technologies
- Knowledge of Python scripting for security automation
- Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement methodology
- Experience working in classified environments with DoD or federal agencies
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
