We are looking to add an experienced Regulatory Exam Manager that will be responsible for assisting with the management of regulatory examinations and response to regulatory inquiries for FEB. The role involves assisting with the coordination of regulatory exams, preparing responses to examiner requests, tracking regulatory findings, and supporting remediation efforts.
This role reports to the Head of Regulatory Management and works closely with a variety of stakeholders, including Strategic Partner (SP) Compliance Advisory, the Compliance Monitoring and Testing team, and the BSA team to coordinate and collaborate holistically to collect and review information and documentation requested by state and federal regulators.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of regulatory examinations and responses to regulatory inquiries for First Electronic Bank.
- Liaise with stakeholders to draft to gather, review, and submit documentation requested by regulatory bodies, ensuring completeness, compliance with applicable laws, and timely and accurate responses.
- Assess regulatory risks and provide guidance to internal teams to mitigate compliance concerns.
- Monitor examination progress, track findings, and assist with the management of remediation efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of all regulatory exams, inquiries, requests, responses, and follow-up actions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on examination results and potential risks.
- Assist in developing plans for issue resolution.
- Comply with issues management processes for escalating and monitoring regulatory findings.
- Collaborate with the Head of Regulatory Management to enhance the organization's regulatory strategy.
- Promote knowledge sharing and promulgation of best practices across the business.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or audit roles within banking and financial services organizations is required.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies such as the FDIC, OCC, CFPB and state financial regulators.
- Proficient knowledge of federal and state lending laws and regulations, including consumer protection requirements.
- Familiarity with fintech partnerships and third-party risk management preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret legal and regulatory materials.
- Strong critical thinking and analytic skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage workload and shift priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft products, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Smartsheet a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of integrity and strong work ethic.
