Job Title: Superintendent Of Construction

Job Description

Manage tenant improvement and smaller ground up construction projects ranging from $50K to $5 million. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors and suppliers, cost monitoring, scheduling, and problem-solving. Proficiency in MS Office is required for documentation and reporting. Preferred experience with project scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
Responsibilities
  • Track subcontractors' progress on the job, maintain the project schedule, and coordinate with various agencies for reporting and compliance with project documents and specifications.
  • Manage field crew including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
  • Implement cost control measures, job costing, quantity reporting, and forecasting.
Essential Skills
  • Commercial Superintendent project experience ranging from $500,000 to $5 million in size.
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent field experience in commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in construction software such as MS Project and Procore.
  • Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Understanding of general contracts, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with blueprint reading and construction supervision.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety management.
  • Experience with tenant improvement projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

The team works collaboratively, emphasizing retail, office, and warehouse/industrial projects with ground up experience up to $5 million in size. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.
