Corporate Accounting Manager

Troon Corporate headquarters located in Scottsdale, Arizona is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Corporate Accounting Manager on the Owned and Leased Asset (OLAG) finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 4-6 Staff and Senior Accountants in the execution of month end processes to ensure accurate financial results related to both domestic and international entities through timely and accurate posting of journal entries, analysis, reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Identify and assist in the implementation of opportunities to re-organize our reporting and functional structure to develop streamlined, efficient month end financial review and closing processes while ensuring appropriate internal controls that are executed effectively.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of new systems and tools as well as improvements in the design and use of our existing systems to create efficiency and improved accuracy in our processes.
• Interact with Finance leadership to provide meaningful reporting and analysis related to our Golf Management Division on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
• Assist in the execution of our annual financial statement audits, including preparation of supporting documentation and footnotes to the financial statements.
• Work with OLAG leadership on annual budgeting and forecasting needs for the Troon FP&A team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting (CPA a plus); and at least 5-7 years of experience working in a fast-paced, corporate accounting environment with at least 3 years of managerial experience
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills a must
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 a plus
• Experience participating in and testing ERP system enhancements or implementations a plus
