*This is not a traditional Sales role*

As a Senior Account Director at Coates Group, you'll play a critical role in delivering innovative technology solutions and driving strategic growth across key accounts. This role blends project oversight, client relationship management, and strategic planning to ensure successful technology deployments, accurate forecasting, and long-term client satisfaction.

You will lead demand planning efforts by validating monthly installation forecasts with clients and aligning closely with our Supply Chain team to optimize inventory and lead times. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of client engagement, technology delivery, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Client Leadership: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders; act as a strategic advisor for their technology needs.
    • Technology Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of Coates' products and solutions to clearly articulate value and drive adoption.
    • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and expansion within accounts, working cross-functionally to execute growth strategies.
    • Project Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery, partnering with internal teams (Project Management, Tech, Supply Chain) to ensure timely and effective execution.
    • Forecasting & Planning: Validate monthly client forecasts and collaborate with Supply Chain for accurate demand planning and inventory management.
    • Consultative Approach: Uncover client challenges and offer tailored technology solutions through a consultative, insight-driven sales style.
    • Revenue Impact: Drive account-level revenue through strategic planning, upselling, and cross-selling.
    • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead pricing and contract discussions to ensure alignment with client needs and company objectives.
    • Customer Advocacy: Act as the internal voice of the client, ensuring satisfaction and swift resolution of issues.
    • Data & Reporting: Use CRM and data analytics tools to track client activity, forecast pipeline, and support decision-making.


What you bring:
    • Bachelor's degree (Business, Technology, or related field); Master's a plus
    • 7+ years of experience in technology account management, delivery, or consultative sales
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale, strategic client relationships
    • Strong knowledge of digital/technology solutions and industry trends
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Analytical mindset with experience in demand forecasting and data-driven decision-making
    • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Technology, Deployment, and Supply Chain teams
    • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and forecasting tools


$140,000 - $170,000 a year

The annual base salary range for this position is based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
