Summary

The Director of Logistics will be responsible for the planning and design of customer delivery models, which supports critical business operations between sales and operations, in such a way as to meet and exceed objectives by performing the following duties.

In this role, you will

• Create and implement a multi-year final mile delivery long range plan to support company strategy and goals.
• Lead the final mile delivery planning team. Be responsible for creating end to end final mile process, technology, potential investments, training, compliance, data, and analytic needs along with cross functional partners.
• Design training protocol, best practices, and management for safety including driving, product knowledge, installation, assembly, stocking, and returns management.
• Ensure industry leading customer satisfaction scores (OTIF) for delivery experiences and compliance with laws and regulations
• Manage forecasting projections to build the delivery needs in conjunction with overall demand and sales growth by region over multiple time horizons
• Establish business requirements and end user experiences for the end-to-end process starting with delivery scheduling down to order tracking and returns partnering with the IT team.
• Strategic Territory Planning tool - ensuring we are using the most productive go to market strategy from the delivery perspective and lead customer delivery model (CDM) efforts .
• Serve as the company liaison for Descartes/GreenMile technology, Geotab GPS/Telematics, DriveCam by Lytx (DriveCam) and Point of Delivery (POD) software to ensure the proper flow of information between the systems.
• Oversee the management and development of SOPs for DOT number CSA scores, and mock DOT audits as possible.

What you bring to RNDC

• High school diploma, technical school, or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
• Travel required: 50%.

Compensation

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary generally starts at 109,900.00 up to 157,100.00, and is a combination of base salary plus monthly earned commissions if applicable. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience.
