Reports to: Manager of Engineering
Work Schedule: M-F (flexible hours)
Compensation: $70,000-$120,000
This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends on applicants credentials.

Overview:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct field audits and assessments for the construction and maintenance of electrical power systems.
- Assist customers and clients in resolving technical and operational issues.
- Design and layout distribution systems according to industry standards and client requirements.
- Attend or facilitate project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
- Cross-train in all facets of the Engineering Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time.
- Train and mentor less experiences interns and engineers.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the engineering or utility industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering design principles and methodologies.
- Proficient with CAD and/or Microstation, PLS CAD, SAG10, and ARC Flash Studies.
- Experience with fiber optic design and understanding of contractual and project/work environments.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Engineer Intern (EI) working towards PE licensure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in various outdoor environments and weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and survey sites for extended periods.
- Capable of carrying and operating testing and survey equipment.
