Overview

The Total Rewards Analyst is responsible for the administration, analysis, and support of the organization's benefits and compensation programs. This role ensures the alignment of total rewards initiatives with organizational goals, provides guidance on benefits and compensation matters, and supports the overall employee experience by managing day-to-day operations, reporting, and compliance.
What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits and compensation programs.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Total Rewards programs that align with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Ensure accurate processing and compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and industry best practices across both benefits and compensation offerings.
  • Point of contact for employee inquiries related to Total Rewards programs providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Lead benefits orientations for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and clear understanding of benefits options.
  • Develop and distribute clear communication materials to educate employees on Total Rewards offerings, benefits enrollment, and compensation programs.
  • Generate and analyze reports for benefits administration and compensation programs, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with HRIS and external carriers.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation (e.g., FLSA, minimum wage) and benefits.
  • Conduct market analysis and salary surveys to assess the competitiveness of compensation and benefits programs, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Support the creation of communication and training plans for HR business partners and employees, ensuring clear messaging and understanding of Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Provide support for special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and an initiative-taking approach to the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role may be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina or the future Scout Motors corporate location (to be determined). The final location will be further discussed and aligned with the successful candidate. (Remote applicants living in the Southeast region of the United States may also be considered.)
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Compensation, Benefits, HR, or Total Rewards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in compensation analysis, benefits administration, or Total Rewards programs.
  • Familiarity with compensation laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, minimum wage).
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate employees at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to provide data-driven insights.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adherence to high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive compensation and benefits information

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
