Environmental Project Manager

Job Description

Take charge of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all project goals, key milestones, budgets, and timelines are defined and met. You will acquire necessary supplies and materials, guide Foremen/Superintendents in organizing and directing activities, track production and project expenses, and maintain an updated 3-week forecast for all ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
  • Define project goals, key milestones, budgets, and timelines.
  • Acquire necessary supplies and materials for project execution.
  • Guide Foremen/Superintendents in organizing and directing activities related to scheduling, labor, equipment, materials, and waste management.
  • Track production and project expenses to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review and approve daily reports on manpower and progress.
  • Maintain an updated 3-week forecast for all ongoing projects.
  • Regularly interact with clients and lead negotiations on any scope discrepancies or site issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors.
  • Oversee and submit change order requests in collaboration with estimating and finance teams.
  • Ensure completion of closeout documentation for full billing.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience managing federal government contracts preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in environmental project management and demolition.
  • OSHA 40 (HAZWOPER) - training can be provided if needed.
  • OSHA 30 Construction Training - training can be provided if needed.
Work Environment

The position requires the ability to run projects independently, with three days per week in the office and a flexible work-from-home schedule. A company truck will be provided.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
