The Food and Beverage Vice president will be responsible for providing executive-level leadership and overall strategic direction to the restaurant, bar, banquet, and nightlife operations. This role will shape and form standards as well as set policies and procedures for service, ensuring a favorable guest experience from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Preparing, planning, and budgeting for Food and Beverage departments.
- Ensures the safety and security of guests and team members. Manages processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and performance management across all functional areas/departments in food and beverage. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Evaluating and solving problems.
- Managing cost of goods sold at the designated budgeted levels and below.
- Monitor and adjust performance and product offering to local competition.
- Meets with department directors as necessary.
- Accountable for all areas of Live! Casino & Hotel, Food and Beverage services and the quality of offering in the Gift Shop.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, and marketing plans.
- Reports initially to the President & General Manager however with growth of Live! Casino may report to Vice President of Operations for successful performance of assigned duties.
- Responsible for the supervision and performance of the Food and Beverage department. Direct reports to include Manager, Gift Shop, Managers of Beverage and Restaurants and the Executive Chef
- Development and management of established budget and other performance goals.
- Completing assigned duties in a timely manner.

- Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years experience in all aspects of food and beverage inclusive of restaurants bars, buffets, and purchasing experience, with instructional skills for training.
- Must have experience managing multiple venues.
- A four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Must also possess or be able to obtain an Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications.
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
Physical Requirements:
- The casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
- Handling, carrying, or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to
- Stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
- Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators
