Responsibilities
The Manager, Compliance Audit is responsible for compliance activities and processes from initial audit to issue resolution ensuring risk is minimized to participants enrolled in InnovAge PACE/LIFE program. The Compliance Audit Manager also provides support and compliance oversight for the InnovAge PACE/LIFE Center Leadership.
Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities
Functional Category: Compliance and Risk Management - Assigned Centers
Estimated Percent of time Spent - 90%
Manage Clinical Compliance Auditors in alignment with the goals of the Audit Management Compliance Program.
Ensure audit assignments for Compliance Audit Specialist are completed monthly and ensure audits are completed timely.
Performs review of audit results for accuracy prior to publication.
Assist centers with corrective action plan from creation to monitoring effectiveness through the internal auditing process.
Performs audits of documentation, departments, and functions to ensure adherence to regulatory guidance and internal policies, procedures, and workflows.
Prepares requested reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information obtained through investigations, and other compliance activities. Including, but not limited to monthly audit.
Proactively monitor the completion of internal monthly audits. Assists with policy and procedure development and maintenance.
Proactively gathers information and provides support with monitoring survey results for each center to identify adverse findings.
In collaboration with the Director of Compliance, designs and develops training initiatives/interventions to address non-compliance.
Assist with audit & compliance related special projects as requested.
Work with Director of Compliance during regulatory audits for all PACE/LIFE programs, CMS, State Administering Agencies, and State licensing agencies.
Maintains current knowledge of regulatory guidance governing InnovAge entities and policies and standards of clinical practice.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
Estimated Percent of Time Spent: 10%
o Travel for departmental needs as scheduled
o Travel out of state as needed
Qualifications

REQUIRED
Education
Bachelor of Science/related fields or equivalent years of experience. R.N. or Clinical degree/license preferred, or clinical equivalent
Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation
Requires valid state issued driver's license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
Work Experience and Qualifications
Must have at least 5-6 years' experience in a health care provider-related field.
Must have at least 5 yrs of management experience.
Must have at least one to two years' experience of applied compliance auditing or clinical risk management in a health-care provider-related field.
Strong knowledge of health care, long term care, homecare, or PACE preferred.
