Description:
Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a Director of Quality. The Director of Quality will oversee Jireh QMS (Quality Management System) which including internal/external audit, supplier quality audit, corrective action driving through 8D, wafer quality inspection, failure analysis lab and customer quality assurance. This position will oversee a department of has 50+ engineers and technicians, with area managers/supervisors reporting directly to the Director of Quality.
This position will collaborate with the fab's other functional teams including manufacturing, equipment, module process engineering, process integration, facilities and procurement to achieve fab operation goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Manage Quality Assurance functional team:
Responsible to Jireh Quality Assurance System
---Schedule and coordinate annual external audit like IATF16949, customer VDA6.3 and others
---Schedule and conduct internal audit according to IATF16949
---Responsible to internal quality review board and drive corrective action through 8D internally
---Responsible to schedule GR&R, tool calibration
---Weekly fab quality incidents dashboard to director and above
Responsible to internal DCC (Document Control Center)
---Oversee site SPEC management
---Quality related training material for site
Responsible to CQA (Customer Quality Assurance) function
---Hold weekly meeting with internal customer,
---Co-work with process engineering and integration engineering team on containment assessment
---Drive 8D for internal/external customer compliant
Manage Quality Control function team:
Responsible to inline defect scanning group activities
---KLA scan for tool quals, line monitor, engineering request
---engineering analysis defect trend chart analysis, co-work with process team on partition test to identify defect source and reduction actions
Responsible to Inline and Outgoing wafer inspection group activities
---daily inspection KPIs, result reporting, critical issue highlighting
---support engineering request for inline excursion detection and containment assessment
---engineering analysis particle performance, co-work with integration team on outgoing wafer quality communication with internal customer
Responsible to Physical Failure Analysis Lab activities
---daily support fab production like tool qual, process monitoring
---support engineering request for various purpose, support customer compliant case
Responsible to SPC chart monitoring/reporting
---daily chart highlighting, driving response from process team
---weekly improvement tracking co-work with process team
Coach and train team to enhance engineering capability and work efficiency
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Minimum Master's Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related majors.
Minimum 15 years of semiconductor fab experience required.
Process or Quality or Failure Analysis Engineering experience is preferred
Certified Internal Auditor for ISO9001, IATF 16949, and VDA6.3 audits are preferred
