Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manages the budgeting and financial forecasting processes, with a focus on continuous improvement in both process and tools.
- Manages and coaches Accounting Manager, ensuring the timely and effective completion of all financial reporting and accounting functions (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.).
- Leads financial and business review processes, including monitoring of key performance indicators of programs and support functions, highlighting trends, and analyzing variances.
- Creates and distributes monthly financial reports, highlighting trends and analyzing variances at both the business unit and executive summary levels. Creates multi-year financial proformas as needed and in support of strategic planning.
- Partners with the Community Engagement team, to provide financial reporting needed for fundraising efforts.
- Supports analyses of Human Services, Business Solutions and Administrative Support financial results, as requested.
- Prepares ad hoc reporting and analyses as needed.
- Coordinates with external auditors for the annual audit and Form 990 filing, providing supporting documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- College degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA
- Experience leading planning & analysis function, with a strong understanding of accounting.
- Strong planning, analysis, and reporting background.
- Strong understanding of accounting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in financial modeling.
- Experience in financial report preparation and analysis, including executive level presentations.
