Job Overview:

As an Automotive Sales Consultant at South Shore Subaru, you'll assist customers in selecting and purchasing pre-owned vehicles while ensuring a top-tier customer experience. You'll build strong client relationships, provide knowledgeable guidance, and help customers find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Meet or exceed dealership targets for unit sales/leasing, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in identifying the right vehicle based on their lifestyle and preferences.
  • Welcome and engage customers on the showroom floor and sales lot.
  • Clearly explain product features, performance, options, and benefits.
  • Offer test drives in compliance with dealership guidelines.
  • Guide prospects through the entire sales process, from selection to delivery.
  • Utilize the dealership's CRM and follow-up tools to track customer interactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle inventory, including new features and add-ons.
  • Educate customers on vehicle depreciation, equity, and value.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all sales documentation.
  • Direct all finalized deals to the finance department with complete paperwork.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery and provide a thorough orientation to new owners.
  • Introduce customers to the service department and schedule their first service appointment.
  • Follow up on post-delivery needs, title/tag work, and any "we-owe" items.
  • Build and maintain a customer base through referrals, repeat business, and follow-ups.
  • Analyze sales performance and plan strategies for improvement.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

    Qualifications:
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to learn and attend ongoing training.
  • Knowledge of retail automotive laws (federal, state, and local) is a plus.
  • Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must be able to perform each essential duty with or without reasonable accommodation.

Supplemental Pay Options:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend Availability Required
