What You'll Do
- Lead and manage daily site operations for ground-up commercial projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and site activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Enforce safety compliance across all operations (OSHA, Scherer standards)
- Maintain accurate as-built drawings and on-site documentation
- Review blueprints, shop drawings, and project specs for accuracy and execution
- Direct layout and benchmark controls, ensuring high-precision work
- Collaborate with inspectors, architects, engineers, and owners for seamless communication
- Manage site logistics including deliveries, equipment, and materials
- Handle RFIs and provide clear updates to the project manager
- Maintain site cleanliness, security, and organization
- Oversee final punch lists and prepare site for client turnover
What You Bring to the Table
- 10+ years in the commercial construction industry
- 5+ years of experience specifically as a Superintendent
- Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects
- Experience in car dealership construction is a strong plus
- Mastery in blueprint reading, field coordination, and dimensional layout
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive subcontractor productivity
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to travel to project sites as needed
