Experience: Minimum 1 year as an Ultrasound Technologist
License: NC State Licensure is not required
Certifications: ARDMS OB certification required, Fetal Echo certification preferred, BLS
Must-Have: Experience with high-risk OB patient population, ability to work independently, ability to obtain nuchal translucency in 1st trimester scans, ability to perform umbilical artery and MCA Dopplers, and conduct 4-chamber heart, LVOT, RVOT, Aortic arch, ductal arch, SVC-IVC, and 3 vessel view (3VV)
Description:
This is a position for a High Risk OB Ultrasound Technologist.
The role involves working in an outpatient maternal fetal medicine clinic.
The technologist will be responsible for approximately 10 patients per day.
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Ultrasound Technologist.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Key patient types include those with multiple gestation, TTTS assessment, AMA, pre-existing maternal health conditions, fetal anomalies, and abnormal fetal growth.
Candidates should have experience with the specified patient population and the ability to work independently.
The department provides support with leadership, nursing staff, peer sonographers, receptionists, and provider support.
Technology and equipment used include EMR systems and GE Ultrasound machines.
Orientation will be 1 week, dependent on experience and skill set.
Scrubs are required in grey and black colors.
