Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Courtland, AL!

The CPS Missile Assembly Building 4 (MAB-4) Assembly Integration, and Test Manager will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of employees to accomplish the assembly, test, and delivery of our nation's most critical hypersonic assets. This leader will have direct oversight of production operations personnel and will be a leader of leaders. The selected candidate will be operating in a multi-shift dynamic and fast paced environment, and will be required to balance various risks across the system to maintain cost within a fixed price and schedule environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage the Production Operations personnel in MAB-4 in the successful day-to-day execution of manufacturing and test engineering activities supporting CPS and LRHW hypersonic programs
Establish and cultivate relationships with CPS program leadership to develop, manage and prioritize schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of AURs
Set strategy for the MAB-4 team leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure their success, while implementing continuous process improvements, technology enhancements, and 1LMX approaches towards achieving full rate missile production
Lead and manage commonality and affordability initiatives, including the development and/or implementation of policies, procedures, and standards
Interface with high level government customers and LM Space executive leadership teams on AI&T accomplishments, delays, and challenges

Basic Qualifications
Experience in Production Operations, Assembly, Test and Launch Operations or other manufacturing operations environments
Experience managing cost, schedule, execution and quality
Formal leadership experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Desired skills

-10+ years of leadership experience in an applicable manufacturing operations environment

-Bachelor's degree

-Demonstrated leadership with ability to lead multi-functional teams to communicate and coordinate across multiple disciplines internal and external to the organization

-Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of organization, support organizations, customers, and governmental oversight organizations

- Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to effectively communicate the need for change and motivate teams
-Trained or experience in Control Account Management (CAM)

-Experience in recruitment or development of talent to strengthen the organization

- Experience as a leader of leaders

- Demonstrated leadership of complex manufacturing & test processes and system level assemblies

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
