Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney

Seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join our growing and dynamic Trusts & Estates Department. A premier law firm, comprised of over 115 attorneys, is committed to delivering innovative solutions and personalized counsel backed by decades of legal expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Manage estate litigation matters including contested probate, accounting proceedings, and guardianship litigation
• Oversee comprehensive estate administration
• Collaborate with seasoned litigators on complex Surrogate's Court and appellate matters
• Communicate effectively with clients and third parties
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines efficiently

Qualifications :

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New York
• 5+ years of experience in estate litigation, contested probate, or related Surrogate's Court matters
• Familiarity with estate administration, fiduciary accountings, and guardianship proceedings
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
• A small book of business is welcomed but not required
