CCI Facility Support Services, LLC (CCI-FSS) is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Facility Support Services and Professional Services business line. This role entails personnel scheduling; subcontractor management; communications with the client and building occupants; safety and occupational health management; and assurance of quality and compliance. This position is responsible for overseeing a variety of professional services contracts, including staff augmentation positions for technical, engineering, and trade labor with contracts ranging from $500K to $25M, with the potential to managing more than 40 employees simultaneously across the country. This position is considered a seller-doer role and will support seeking new work with existing clients under contract to support the growth of the business line.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Procurement and oversight of subcontractors; coordination, organization, and supervision of project activities to ensure on-time delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and upholding high-quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Analyze project RFPs and plans, collaborating with leadership to define project objectives effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with employees, subcontractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage the evaluation and acquisition of subcontracts.
  • Supervise the project closely to promptly address out-of-scope work requests, unforeseen conditions, and time impacts.
  • Full-range of project management activities including invoicing and management of staff.
  • Manage project from proposal stage through closeout.
  • Effectively manage and build teamwork within the project execution team.
  • Track the financial performance of projects and forecast project cash flow.
  • Interface with the client, maintain our excellent reputation, and drive the CPARS process.
  • Meeting with existing clients to develop new and follow-on contract opportunities.
  • This position will require up to 10 percent travel.


Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 8+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering or a related field preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of managing staff
  • Management of engineering and/or professional services contracts
  • Strong customer service ability
  • Skilled in conflict resolution
  • Able to maintain morale within the group and foster an environment of strong team spirit

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection while visiting project sites. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.

Working Conditions

Job is performed in a combination of office and visits to site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and exposure to heat and cold conditions.
